October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time when we should come together to support women affected by breast cancer and raise awareness about this disease. We’ve partnered with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). Together, we are dedicated to supporting their mission of providing early detection services, support, and education to women and families impacted by breast cancer.

House of Lashes' Commitment

Throughout October, House of Lashes will donate 3% of all sales to the NBCF. About the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF)

Founded in 1991 by breast cancer survivor Janelle Hail, the NBCF has been helping women for over 30 years. Its mission is to fill the gaps in cancer care, ensuring that every woman has access to the information needed to navigate her breast cancer journey while emphasizing the importance of early detection. Janelle and NBCF remain dedicated to supporting women worldwide in their breast cancer journey.

HOPE Kits: Bundles of Hope and Support

One of NBCF's incredible initiatives is the creation of HOPE Kits. These kits are tangible expressions of hope, carefully designed to provide comfort and encouragement to women undergoing breast cancer treatment. Inside, you'll find thoughtful items like cozy fuzzy socks and inspirational bracelets, offering support to patients during their journey.

This year, House of Lashes has proudly donated 20,000 units of our beloved lashes and liner adhesive for the HOPE Kits. These products are more than makeup; they serve as tools to help women regain a sense of normalcy and feel beautiful as they navigate their breast cancer journey. Together, we're supporting the strength and resilience of these remarkable women.

A Glimpse of HOPE Kits

To give you a glimpse of the impact of HOPE Kits, we'd like to share a heartfelt message from one of the recipients:

“I was surprised and excited to get the false lashes and adhesive. I'm not a makeup girl and have never done lashes. However, in the past five days, my hair began falling out, and I have felt so ugly. I wore my wig for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised that it made me look good and normal. Seeing these brought the same type of feeling. Now I can learn to use them and feel normal (if not pretty). Thank you for the day brightener and encouragement to begin my week."
